 Menu -- Draft
Thursday Dinner: Pan-grilled pepper steak with mashed potatoes and pan gravy with sauted mushrooms. Preceeded by appetizer of miso soup. Chocolate bars for dessert.
Friday Breakfast: Espresso in camp. Breakfast in Whitney Portal
Friday Dinner: Garlic chicken with shell pasta topped with tomato basil sauce and mushrooms. Raspberry crumble for desert.
Saturday Breakfast (3:00 am): Oatmeal with dried fruit and expresso.
Saturday Meals (Whitney Ascent): Two sandwiches each, granola bars, trail mix
Sunday Breakfast/Lunch: Espresso in camp. Late breakfast/lunch in Whitney Portal
  

 Food Check List
  2 10 oz top sirloin steaks   sandwich meat (anything but salami?), cheese, lettuce, bread, mustard
  1.5 cups dried mashed potatoes (3/4 cup/person/meal)   4 packets instant oatmeal
  dried Shitake mushrooms ( all 2dinners)   instant espresso, dried creamer, sugar
  canned chicken (1)   dried soups
  1/2 lb shell pasta (1/4 lb/person/meal)   1.5 lbs of trail mix
  dried tomatoes (for 2 dinners)   10 granola bars
  4 cloves garlic   4 large chocolate bars
  chicken boullion   1 quart Maker's Mark bourbon
  dried basic tomato sauce mix   dried fruit for cereal
   2 packets of miso soup mix   1/2 lb beef jerky
  aluminum foil   Spice set including (garlic, tarragon, gumbo spice, onion powder, chicken stock, salt & pepper)
  1 small plastic trashbag    
  Ziplock bags, wire ties, etc    
  10 paper towels
